Our Pastor
Dale Hoffpauir became Pastor of Baton Rouge First Church of the Nazarene in March 2020. Prior to that, he served as founding pastor of Nouvelle Church of the Nazarene in Lafayette, Louisiana (2012-2010). He and his family previously served in Baton Rouge as Associate Pastor and lay leaders before he entered the ministry.
He has been married to his childhood sweetheart Carmen Hoffpauir for 30 years and they have three children, Madeline, Macey, and Brennan.
He also serves as Chief Operating Officer for Louisiana Family Forum, the state-affiliate of Focus on the Family, with emphasis on cooperation and communication with pastors and policymakers throughout the state. Prior to entering the ministry, he served for seventeen years in industrial sales and management.
A native of Lake Charles, Louisiana, he earned an Associate of Arts in Bible from Hobe Sound Bible College; a Bachelor of Arts in Government from McNeese State University, and a Masters of Arts in Organizational Leadership from Regent University.
As an ordained elder in the Church of the Nazarene, he currently serves as District Secretary for the Louisiana District Church of the Nazarene.
